Fishery Report for Late Winter 2022 and Spring 2023  And Prospects for Autumn and Winter 2023

The late Winter and Spring fishing was excellent this year. The fishing went through to early June with water temperatures and clarity remaining good, and the weather reasonably clement.
A Social Day was held in mid-March which proved a great success with most members and guests catching fish, which were in excellent condition. The weather was fine on the day and a good lunch (provided by the Porcupine Café) was enjoyed by all!

By mid June the water temperatures began to exceed 20 degrees and the fishing came to an abrupt end and very few fish were caught throughout the Summer period.
As we get to the end of September we are looking forward to Stocking the Lakes and enjoying some good fishing again.
Membership has remained strong and we have accepted several new members during the summer period. We welcome them to the Syndicate and are sure they cannot wait to get a line in the water!
