I am told one of the new members caught 3 fish on his first outing to the fishery, well done. Hopefully meet you all at the club social on April 25th.
Other News.
Several of us made up a working party on Sunday 8th March, clearing around the margins, trimming the floating plant islands and relocating the aerator on lake one. Special mention for club chairman Alan who donned chest waders to clear the margins around the inlet of lake one.
Fishing remains good from lake two, I had a very successful couple of hours last week, using size 10 straggle cat lures, (see May 2019 report) I landed three superb Rainbows with a combined weight of just under 10lbs.
With the weather looking more settled over the next few days I would expect to see improvement to the water quality in lake one which is fully stocked.
Tight lines to all
Alan
