After the summer break the blog and fishery reports are back.

 

Like many small waters our lakes suffer from the hot weather raising the water temperature, reducing the oxygen in the water, this in turn causes the Trout to become lethargic and hence the fishing becomes somewhat more than challenging.

 

There were some dedicated members who cast a line during this month and the end of the month saw the catch rate Improving.

 

We now have the cooler months to look forward to and improving fishing conditions, I can further report both lakes were restocked during September with a total of 154 3lb Rainbows.
