Catch report November 2019

There were some good results for Novembers fishing, average catch rate up on previous months, fish that I caught this month were in excellent condition.

During November each lake was stocked with 75 of Berkshire Trout farms finest Rainbows.

The majority of fish during November were caught from Lake 2 as the water in lake 1 remains coloured due to all the heavy rain.

I spoke to our Chairman on a recent visit to the fishery and was advised the committee are in discussion with the Penshurst Estate about a remedy to the coloured water feeding into the lake.

I recently brought my six year old Grandson to the fishery as he wanted to learn about fly fishing, using my rod I cast the line for him and he retrieved, with a large portion of beginners luck he hooked and with assistance landed a 3lb Rainbow. Happy Grandson, not so happy Mum as his school coat smelled of fish.
