Catch report March 2019

Spring has arrived and the water in both lakes are up to their maximum level. The water in lake one is now clearing after all the early rain, both lakes have been giving excellent returns over the month, average catch per rod and average fish weight are slightly up on last month.

The Damsel Nymph, always good early season fly appears to have been catching fish during March along with a selection of other flys and lures. Im sure we are all looking forward to the open day on April 13th, stocking has taken place with both Rainbow and Brown Trout so there are lots of fish waiting to be caught.

We have a Raffle arranged for the open day with all £ returns going to the syndicate, there are 11 fantastic prizes on offer so the odds of winning are good.  I will be selling tickets on the day £5:00 each or 3 for £10.00.  Good fishing to you all.
